Team & roles
Who inside Buildex does what, which section they own, and which view you are using.
Roles here are a view, not a permission
Operations
Current viewJohn Gitahi
Verification decisions, supplier standing and listing moderation.
Owns /admin/verification
Responsible for
- Approve, reject or hold a manufacturer application
- Name the exact documents a rejection requires
- Suspend or reinstate a supplier

Supplier Support

Owns /admin/enquiries

- Compare a supplier's answer rate against the time they advertise
- Spot suppliers cleared to sell but publishing nothing
- Read one supplier's whole record before making the call
Not theirs to do

What Buildex has done
The internal half of the audit trail: verification decisions taken by Operations, newest first.
Coming with the backend
- Authentication and real roles. Sign-in, per-role route protection, and decisions attributed to the person who made them rather than to the role.
- Four-eyes on rejection. A rejection costs a supplier days, so it deserves a second reviewer — the decision path already records who acted, which is what that needs.
- Credit roles. Buildex Capital adds underwriting and collections; neither exists in the data model yet, so neither is shown here. The console lists 12 event kinds today and none of them is a loan.
